The Investigative Committee opened a criminal case against Sergei Udaltsov and his two associates - Konstantin Lebedev and Leonid Razvozhaev. They are suspected of preparations for the organization of riots (part 1 of article 30 and part 1 of article 212 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation, the maximum term of punishment is up to 10 years). After the searches of Udaltsov, they interrogated as a suspect and released on a recognizance not to leave, Konstantin Lebedev was charged and sent to Butyrka - pre -trial detention center No. 2. Leonid Podvozhaev was put on the federal wanted list. The reason for the initiation of the criminal case was the check of the film “Anatomy of Protest-2”, released on the NTV channel. The film is based on a recording of hidden shooting, on which the opposition are allegedly captured at a meeting with the chairman of the Georgian Parliamentary Committee on Defense and Security Givi Targamadze (named NTV “Constructor of Color Revolutions”) and the consul of Georgia in Moldova Mikhail Iashvili. In the video, they discuss the preparation of the revolution in Russia, noting that it is better to begin to take the authorities from the distant regions of the country, for example, Kaliningrad. The recording was made in June 2012 in the premises of Minsk.
Sergei Udaltsov believes that the case against him is a political one, and denies a meeting with Givi Targamadze. “Such an entry cannot be the basis of the prosecution. This is a low -quality film, I do not identify myself on it. It is not known what means of this disc is obtained. Initially, even video and audio files were recorded separately. There are a thousand ways to mount the video, and my words could be compiled with the wire of the phone. Even if so, the thought of the member of us is not a jurisdiction, ”said Udaltsov The New Times.

The human rights activist Lyudmila Alekseeva called in an interview with The New Times the shooting of a provocation in the spirit of Stalinist repressions and predicted that Udaltsov in this chain of provocations would not be the last.
