According to Prime Minister Kari Mokko, an unknown man with a knife tried to break through to a high-ranking policy in the city of Turku in the south-west of the country, where Katainanov performed on the eve of the municipal elections.

The Finnish media report that the man entered into a short dialogue with a politician, and then suddenly grabbed a knife and attacked Katainen. The Prime Minister’s guards managed to seize the attacker - at the moment he is in custody. It was taken in handcuffs. As a result of the attack by Yurka, Katainen was not injured.
