On October 19, 2012 at 18.50, a resident of the village of Novogorny (a 43-year-old man) called from a cell phone and reported that he was lost in the forest. It turned out that at 11 am he went into the forest to pick mushrooms, and is currently in an unfamiliar swampy area and does not know where to go.
All county first responders were notified. “Ready No. 1” was declared for the duty shift of rescuers. The Internal Affairs Directorate allocated employees to conduct search operations and a service dog. Also, the administration department of the village of Novogorny, and the police department and forestry of the Argayash district were involved in the search. When the rescuers were ready to move into the search area, the lost mushroom picker called the EDDC and reported that he had gone out to the village of Novogorny on his own.
The emergency services were immediately given the all clear.
We remind you that the single telephone number for rescuers and firefighters is “01”, 112 - from a cell phone (the call is free , possible even with a negative balance).
