The checkpoint was blown up on the border of North Ossetia and Ingushetia

On Tuesday morning, at the police checkpoint on the administrative border of North Ossetia and Ingushetia, an explosion, allegedly arranged by a suicide bomb terrorist. According to RIA Novosti, one policeman died, four were injured.

According to the head of the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Alla Akhpolova, a VAZ-2109 car, moving from Ingushetia towards North Ossetia, exploded near the checkpoint No. 105. The car stuffed with explosives drove up to the checkpoint at 4:20 Moscow time and took off into the air.

The checkpoint is completely destroyed. “The explosion was so powerful that the parts of the car scattered within a radius of 100 meters, and the engine took off the engine - the most difficult part of the car,” Akhpolova emphasized.

The Ministry of Internal Affairs has not yet specified whether the car was conducted shortly before the emergency.

As a result of the explosion, one of the police officers by the name of Dzhibilov died, four law enforcement officers were hospitalized with severe injuries. As Akhpolova noted, among the victims - police officer Nona Lotashvili, who at the time of the explosion was inside the premises of the checkpoint and was shell -shocked.

According to the deputy head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of North Ossetia, Kazbek Bekmurzov, the actions of a suicide bomber are considered as one of the version of the explosion.
