Razvozzhaev's kidnapping and torture. Everyone is in shock. For many people, this has only now become a reality.
In the Caucasus, all this has been going on for many years. They tortured me with electric shocks and forced needles under my nails. Was it just that people who were arrested were thrown out of the windows?
And you know what, I’ve been wanting to say this for a long time. Many people have been pretending all these years that the Caucasus is not about us. This is not with us. He's on his own. And some other people are being tortured there. Not related to us. Yes, and they are most likely to blame, they are not just being shot or tortured.
And we do not react much to reports from human rights activists, for example, Memorial or HRW, about what is being done to people there. And whole crowds go to Russian anti-Caucasian marches. And now one of the comrades from these Russian marches has headed the Constitutional Court of the opposition. By the way, that’s the only reason I didn’t go to vote - from the very beginning it was clear that Navalny would pass and be in charge. A man who has never apologized for his anti-Caucasian statements. For calling for the deportation of Georgians in August 2008. I’m not ready to legitimize it any more. Although I like many other candidates and I know them well. And I really wanted to go and support them. But I’m glad I held out and didn’t go.
So, everything that has been happening all these years in the Caucasus is about us and it is with us.
In Kazan, they recently told me that the local riot police used to be in Chechnya for six months, but now they are in Dagestan for 3 months. And these riot policemen come from there differently. And therefore, the methods of the security forces have changed a lot. They see there that ANYTHING is possible. If you have power and authority, and you have a real task to accomplish, you can give a damn about human rights and the presumption of innocence and generally everything. You can do whatever and however you feel comfortable to achieve results.
That is, the Caucasus is just a testing ground. There they test methods that are then used in big cities.
And, perhaps, what they are doing with Razvozzhaev is the result of the fact that all these years, when someone was tortured and tortured in the Caucasus, society was silent.
