At a plenary meeting on Thursday, deputies of the Ivanovo Regional Duma adopted a law on the free provision of land plots to all large families in the region.
Previously, this measure of state support applied only to those citizens who had large families starting in 2011.
The new version of the law provides for the right of large families living in urban districts to receive land plots within the city. Previously, land plots with the possibility of connecting communications were provided in areas where families lived, but outside the city.
At the meeting, it was noted that in total, more than 3.5 thousand families with three or more children live in the Ivanovo region, 350 families have already received land plots, more than 500 families have submitted applications.
Free land plots for citizens with many children are provided in the range from 6 to 15 acres.
The regional government is now working to allocate new sites that will be needed after January 1, 2013.
Thus, orders were adopted to include 10 land masses with a total area of about 250 hectares in the Ivanovo, Ilyinsky, Komsomolsky, Teikovsky and Shuisky districts within the boundaries of settlements. Municipalities will form the required number of sites.
Earlier it was reported that the Ivanovo region became the first subject of the Russian Federation, where, on the initiative of Governor Mikhail Me, large families began to receive free ownership of land plots for individual housing construction or for organizing personal subsidiary plots.
This spring, at the awards ceremony for the winners of the Family of the Year competition, the head of the region made a proposal to expand the effect of the regional law “On the free provision of land plots for ownership to citizens of the Russian Federation.”
