Information about the acquisition of an expensive foreign car by Alexander Khodzheisa, an employee of the Department for Combating Economic Crimes and Anti-Corruption of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs for the Saratov Region, appeared on the website of one of the local online publications in August. The publication reported that A. Khodjeisa “acquired the vehicle as personal property and uses it to travel around the city and region.”
In response to a journalist’s request, the head of the operational investigative unit of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, Igor Topilin, officially stated that “a check was carried out against A.V. Khodzheis, an employee of the Economic Intelligence and PC of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for the Saratov Region, for a corruption component, during which the information was partially confirmed.” .
According to I. Topilin, the inspection material was sent to the investigative department of the Investigative Committee of the Investigative Committee for the Saratov Region “for making a decision.”
In turn, the press secretary of the SUSKR region, Anna Marusova, told the Interfax-Povolzhye agency that the inspection materials have now been returned to the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs due to errors in the submitted documents.
