A resident of Kursk died in a carpet where his mother had rolled him up to protect him from drug use, the investigative department of the Investigative Committee for the Kursk Region reported on Thursday.
The death of a 29-year-old local resident was reported to the police department on October 21 of this year from his mother.
Arriving at the apartment where a 52-year-old woman lived with her son, the police found the body of a young man on the floor in one of the rooms, wrapped in a carpet with his hands and feet bound with tape.
The owner of the apartment explained that her son had been using drugs for a long time, and so that he could not take the next dose, she immobilized him at the moment when he was unconscious and intoxicated.
According to preliminary information, the young man died of sudden heart failure.
Currently, a pre-investigation check is being carried out on this fact, based on the results of which a procedural decision will be made.
