
The hostel caught fire in the city of Gubkinsky of the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrug, 64 people were evacuated, the press service of the Ministry of Emergencies in the district said on Sunday.
As specified in the release, a two -story wooden building caught fire at about 16:15 Moscow time. At the time of the arrival of the first fire guard, the roof of the building on an area of 40 square meters burned.
“In a short time, firefighters evacuated 64 people on a bus and an on -board vehicle owned by the administration of the city of Gubkinsky. Psychologists of the Ministry of Emergencies work with the residents of the burning house. There are no dead and victims,” the Russian Ministry of Emergencies quoted.
As a result of the fire, two apartments and an attic on an area of 648 square meters were damaged. The cause of the fire and material damage are established.
