
Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev said that blog posts are forming public opinion and often solving the problems of specific people, RIA Novosti reports.
During the "Neforum" bloggers, the Minister of Communications and Mass Communications of Russia Nikolai Nikiforov quoted the words of the prime minister. According to Medvedev’s Slvs, bloggers in their posts often are ahead of the press and information agencies, complementing them with emotional comments and specific examples, due to which public opinion is being formed.
Medvedev also noted that Twitter , Facebook , a “ living magazine ” and other Internet resources are using.
Neforum, organized by RIA Novosti, gathered about 200 bloggers from 50 regions of Russia and other CIS countries to discuss the influence of the blogosphere on both the whole society and individuals. The live broadcast from the forum can be viewed on the site fmf.ria.ru.
