Seventeen honorary veterans of the Udmurt Izhmash enterprise, including the creator of the legendary assault rifle Kalashnikov, Mikhail Kalashnikov, turned to the country's leadership with a complaint about the actions of the enterprise administration, due to which, in their opinion, the production level of record decreased.
"The production of sports weapons was completely stopped, a number of export contracts were torn off. A contract for organizing the production of AK machine guns in one of the countries is close to the breakdown. It is already clear that not so great state defense rooms for rifle and air -gun weapons will be lost," the letter of veterans, which quoted RIA Novosti .
Due to low wages, qualified workers are quitting from the enterprise, gunsmiths write. “The basis of production is exhausted to the limit - the workshop. The salary of the main workers does not exceed 10 thousand rubles. Many earn less,” veterans are dissatisfied.
On October 16, a spontaneous rally of 200 workers of 103 weapons production workshops took place on the territory of Izhmash. The reason was the fact that the workers of the mechanical section of the 103rd workshop of the Izhevsk Armory Factory received the settlement salary statements, in which there were amounts of 2-3.5 thousand rubles. More than 200 people reached the passing plant. “Apparently, this is only the beginning of their indignation,” the letter says.
According to veterans, the enterprise still retains the minimum personnel composition that can overcome the crisis. “But in case of non -rejection of emergency measures in the near future, irreversible changes can occur at the enterprise leading to its disappearance, as well as the disappearance of brands such as“ Kalashnikov ”,“ Draguns ”and“ Nikonov ”,” the gunsmiths summed up.
Earlier, Deputy Chairman of the Government of Udmurtia, Ildar Bikbulatov, said that Izhmash, whose workers in October staged a strike, practically broke the state defense order.
According to Bikbulatov, the decision to change the principle of remuneration, which adopted the management of the enterprise, led to a reduction in workers' salaries, which began to receive five to six thousand rubles a month. In addition, enterprises sold all their inventories developed over the past years in terms of state defense order. The breakdown of the state defense system means for "Izhmash" entering the list of unscrupulous suppliers.
Recall that in July 2012, the management of the enterprise changed the principle of remuneration, as a result of which the wages of workers began to depend on the number of products. In September, 103 weapons workshop released only 40% of the monthly product. Thus, the salary of workers for a month amounted to 11.5 thousand rubles. Moreover, many workers received settlement statements with the indicated salary of two to three and a half thousand rubles. The workers of the remaining workshops received 12-17 thousand rubles.
NPO Izhmash "is one of the main suppliers of small arms for the Russian Ministry of Defense. The company is assembled by Kalashnikov, AK-47, AK-9, machine guns, sniper rifles, as well as sports, hunting and air weapons.
