At an extraordinary meeting of the Chelyabinsk regional association of employers "PROMASS" held today, October 31, entrepreneur and deputy of the Duma of the capital of the Southern Urals Mark Boldov was elected president of the organization. The candidacy was proposed by the Governor of the Chelyabinsk Region, Mikhail Yurevich, and the majority of the meeting participants, with two abstentions, supported his proposal, the URA.Ru correspondent reports.

Previously, the candidacy of Mark Boldov was agreed upon with the largest representatives of PROMASS, as well as with the regional government and the Legislative Assembly of the region, so today’s result is quite expected. Two weeks ago, Boldov became a member of PROMASS, joining it as the head of one of his organizations, Bravo LLC.

Mark Boldov was born in 1968 in Chelyabinsk. In 1993 he graduated from Chelyabinsk State University with a degree in Housing Production. Currently, he is the director of CJSC Fasad-Holding. He started his business from scratch, more precisely from plastic windows, and is now one of the developers of the “Holms” cottage village in the Sosnovsky district. In 2009, he became a deputy of the Chelyabinsk City Duma IV, and is a member of two permanent commissions of the Chelyabinsk State Duma: on urban planning and land use; on local self-government and ensuring the life safety of the population. Married, has two daughters.

The former head of PROMASS, businessman Valery Panov, who held this post since 2003, resigned as president, initiating the convening of an extraordinary meeting of the association to elect a new leader. Earlier, information was announced in the federal media that Panov was suspected of organizing an attempted contract killing of the former vice-mayor of Troitsk Fyodor Sakharov. These messages found Panov in the USA, where he was on vacation. The businessman, although he has denied the accusations against him, has not yet decided to return to Chelyabinsk.
