In Moscow, robbers fought back with the help of “traumatics” from the police and hid on Infiniti

The metropolitan police are looking for members of the gang of robbers who tore off the special operation, fired at threat employees from traumatic weapons and hid in the Infiniti car.

The incident occurred near the house N31 on Krasnaya Presnya Street, Interfax reports with reference to a source in law enforcement.

"The police stopped the Infiniti car to check. In response, the driver fired on the law enforcement officers, after which he disappeared," the agency’s interlocutor noted.

After some time, the press service of the capital's head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs specified that the police resisted persons suspected of robbery on the carriers of money. The robbers unsuccessfully tried to detain the employees of the Moscow criminal investigation department.

The police added that no one was injured during shooting. The city interception was introduced in the city.

Toward evening, it became known about the detention of one of the suspects. It turned out to be a native of Georgia.

Over the past hours, this is the second armed attack on police officers in Moscow. Earlier, an employee of the Ivanovo Department of Internal Affairs was injured from the robber's knife.

The issue of initiating a criminal case under Article 318 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (the use of violence against a representative of the authorities) is being decided. The criminal faces a punishment in the form of five years in prison.
