The Moscow City Hall denied the Russian Migrants federation of the Russian March, RIA Novosti reports. There is no reason to cancel or transfer the action, since it takes not the first year, complies with the law and all formats, the metropolitan authorities noted.
Earlier, the head of the federation Majumder Muhammad made a corresponding request to Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin. "Russian March" is a danger to multinational Russia, Muhammad said. He asked if not to cancel, then at least transfer the action the next day. According to him, migrants also love the holiday of popular unity and will go for a walk on this day around the city.
The organizers of the procession were warned of liability for violations of the law, the city hall noted. "We met with the organizers and warned them that any violations would be suppressed up to the termination of the event. We reported that all slogans and visual agitation must comply with the law. If their content is inclined to interethnic or other growth, then the law enforcement agencies will prevent this," the head of the capital's regional security department, Alexei Mayorov.
Previously, Senator Ruslan Gattarov previously asked to cancel the "Russian March". Seven public organizations turned to the metropolitan authorities with the same request. Among them are the council of many children Moscow, the Moscow Union of Judo Veterans, the Law and Order law enforcement Fund, the Council of Veterans of the Novogireevo district. The Russian March and the ideology promoted by its organizers can cause an escalation of interethnic conflicts, the authors of the appeal believe. Often the holding of a promotion of one political organization causes a reaction from other organizations, Mayorov noted. At the same time, they may not arrange the format of the event or the place of its holding.
On Wednesday, the organizers of the "Russian march" reported, decided to hold it in the center of Moscow. At the same time, they are ready to limit themselves to a rally without a march. Earlier, the city hall offered them two places of the action: Lublino with 20 thousand participants or the Yakimanskaya and Crimean embankments with 10 thousand. In the previous sentence there was only Lublino with a number of 7 thousand people. The organizing committee decided to choose the city center, "to break out of the reservation of Lublin, despite the fact that the route is more convenient and longer," said the leader of the Russian Association Dmitry Demushkin.
