In Italy, property of 65 million euros is confiscated to the family members of the fashionable Empire Marsootto owning Hugo Boss

The Italian financial guard today confiscated property for 65 million euros, owned by the Marsootto family, the owner of the empire in the field of the finished fashionable clothing of Hugo Boss and other prestigious brands. The industrial group is accused of evading a firm in Luxembourg from taxes in the amount of 200 million euros.

Among the confiscated property is real estate in Rome, the cortine in northern Italy, on the island of Sardinia. In relation to 13 people, including family members, the investigation has begun, ITAR-TASS reports.

The Marzotto group, leading its history since 1836, has been releasing fabrics for leading mods of mod and sewing finished clothes. The company owns such brands as Gruppo Bassetti, Lanerossi, Hugo Boss. Valentino Fashion Group with a headquarters in Rome in Rome is engaged in the production of clothing licensed under the Hugo Boss, Malboro Classics, and until recently Valentino and M Missoni. In 2012, the rights to these brands were sold to the Qatari investment holding.

The group itself does not comment on what happened. Recently, Italian tax authorities made claims to the famous fashion designers Dolce and Gabban. They were convicted of hiding from taxes for almost a billion euros, but later the charges were removed from them.
