In California on election day, an employee of a food company opened fire

In the American city of Fresno (California) on the day of the universal presidential and parliamentary elections, a man opened shooting.

As a result of an emergency, one person died, four were injured. This was reported by representatives of local law enforcement agencies.

According to them, Lawrence Jones, an employee of an enterprise producing food products, opened fire on its territory.

One of the workers was killed by a shot in the head. Then the man seriously wounded several people and attempted suicide, ITAR-TASS reports.

All the wounded and Jones himself were taken to the Hospital Fresno.

An investigation of the causes and circumstances of the emergency has begun.
