An elderly man who came to vote on one of the polling stations in Michigan, the heart stopped right during the filling of the ballot, the Detroit News newspaper reports. The man was given first aid, after which he came to his senses.

Another case of manifestation of civil consciousness occurred in Illinois. There, a 21-year-old pregnant woman, despite the at night and constantly intensifying contractions, decided to certainly go to the voting site along the way to the hospital.
A few minutes after Galicia Malona lowered the ballot, her water left. As it turned out, the husband of the voter, who was expecting her first child, convinced her to immediately go to the clinic in advance, but she stubbornly refused to go until the polling stations open.
