The Americans demonstrated extraordinary civil consciousness in the presidential election, trying to fulfill their duty even with a risk to life. So, one of the voters, having survived the clinical death in the polling station, recovering, the first thing he made sure if he filled the ballot. In the other area, the woman appeared to vote with strong birth fights.

An elderly man who came to vote on one of the polling stations in Michigan, the heart stopped right during the filling of the ballot, the Detroit News newspaper reports. The man was given first aid, after which he came to his senses.

The first phrase, uttered by surviving clinical death, impressed everyone around him, reports ITAR-TASS. "I have already voted?" he asked calmly.

The wife of a pensioner, with whom he came to the site, tried to explain to him that now it does not matter, but her husband insisted. “Only two things matter: the first - I love you, and the second - I have to do why I came here, namely to vote,” he said. Just seeing the filled ballot, the pensioner agreed to go to the hospital.

Another case of manifestation of civil consciousness occurred in Illinois. There, a 21-year-old pregnant woman, despite the at night and constantly intensifying contractions, decided to certainly go to the voting site along the way to the hospital.

A few minutes after Galicia Malona lowered the ballot, her water left. As it turned out, the husband of the voter, who was expecting her first child, convinced her to immediately go to the clinic in advance, but she stubbornly refused to go until the polling stations open.

“I had never voted before, so my life has changed a lot. And I wanted my daughter’s life to begin with this,” RIA Novosti quoted the Woman’s words.
