Ay-yay. The Minister of Defense was fired. It turns out that corruption was discovered at the very top of the War Ministry. They didn’t find it for 6 years, and then bam, they found it. 3 billion to steal, well, it’s so easy. Well, it’s like sneaking a chocolate bar into your pocket in a store.
They sold off, damn it, how much real estate and for so many years no one turned an eye. No one even asked why expensive real estate was actually being sold for pennies.
Well, that’s correct in principle; our law enforcement agencies have no time to deal with such nonsense. Just think, 3 billion rubles, here the US State Department bought whole packs of cookies from kiosks in Moscow, and is trying to start a revolution, and Georgians generally turn out to be the world's main sponsors of the opposition. It’s not clear, though, just for what purposes. Probably, the persimmons sold the new harvest and rushed to sponsor the revolution in Russia.
But most of all I liked the reaction of federal television channels. Oh, what a bad Minister of Defense it turns out. There was corruption in the department, and the officers did not respect him, and it turns out that he carried out the reform in the wrong way. And where, dear journalists of federal television channels, was your professional language for six years, while Serdyukov headed the department? Why didn’t you say before how bad he is? Why didn’t you conduct journalistic investigations into the facts of grandiose corruption in the Ministry of Defense?
The situation with Serdyukov is reminiscent of the situation with Luzhkov, he, too, was just a wonderful leader for 18 years, and then suddenly and in an instant he became a bad guy. And the situation with Serdyukov will most likely end the same way, he will quietly and peacefully retire to some bank and will breed bees in the Alpine meadows. Otherwise, put him in jail, and he’ll start telling things that won’t seem enough to anyone.
But gentlemen journalists of federal television channels still at least sometimes need to have a sense of self-esteem. If a person is shit, then have the courage to say it, not only on orders from above, but openly, on the air. And if you can’t, then go work for the Murzilka magazine.
