A bronze bust of Vysotsky was installed in the Tver region
A monument to Vladimir Vysotsky appeared in Bologoye, Tver region, the district administration told Interfax on Wednesday.
“The monument is a bronze bust, under which are carved the words from V. Vysotsky’s song: “The ice, kilometers and years have melted, my first train has returned back...” The money for the monument was allocated by sponsors - admirers of the work of the poet and musician, the representative said administration.
He clarified that V. Vysotsky visited Bologoy more than once and, according to the recollections of contemporaries, admired the beauty of the local nature.
This is the first monument to the bard in the Tver region.
