Rosoboron orders will check "Oboronservice"

Rosoboronkazy will conduct inspections of OboronService, whose management is accused of real estate fraud, RIA Novosti reports with reference to Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Rogozin.

Rogozin gave instructions for verification after appointing Alexander Potapov, head of the dew Oboron order. According to the Deputy Prime Minister, not only law enforcement agencies, but also the “control bodies of Russia” will from now on checking the legality and efficiency of budgetary funds.

On November 8, the first charges of Oboronservis was charged. The former director of one of the Ministry of Defense Maxim Zakutailo is accused under the article “Fraud on an especially large scale” (part 4 of Article 159 of the Criminal Code). He wrapped his guilt himself.

In total, five criminal cases were instituted on the fact of theft , subsequently united in one proceeding. The damage is estimated at three billion rubles. One of the suspects is also the civil wife of Zakutailo, the former head of the Department of Property of the Ministry of Defense Yevgeny Vasiliev.

Recall that the case of Oboronservis caused the resignation of Anatoly Serdyukov from the post of Minister of Defense. On November 6, his place was taken by the former governor of the Moscow Region Sergey Shoigu . The temporarily acting head of the Moscow Region, Russian President Vladimir Putin appointed the head of the Duma faction "United Russia" by Andrei Vorobyov.
