This criminal case is combined in one proceeding with the death of the patient of the fund Tatyana Kazantseva. The next day, the court put Shabalin into custody.

On October 26, he was charged with illegal deprivation of a person of freedom (paragraph "g" of part 2 of Article 127 of the Criminal Code). Shabalin by the investigation authorities is charged with a crime against six women who were held against their will during 2012 in the territory of the rehabilitation center, the report said.

In June, the police announced the initiation of a criminal case of illegal deprivation of liberty at the request of the former patient of the Foundation Women's Rehabilitation Center. On July 2, a criminal case was opened on the fact of the death of Kazantseva. The woman entered rehabilitation in already poor physical condition. On June 17, she died in the hospital, where she was delivered from the rehabilitation center. After that, searches and checks began in the fund, which led to the temporary cessation of the activities of rehabilitation centers.
