Street art continues to capture the streets of Russian cities. For independent artists and art activists, street art has become a new effective way to express.

In St. Petersburg, from November 13 to December 14, Publicpost holds the Street Voice Street Festival, at which more than 30 independent artists from all over Russia show their work, talk about the ideology of street art and conduct master classes on drawing graffiti, manufacturing art objects and conducting flash mobs.

The only criterion for the selection of work for the exhibition was the presence of their author of a clear message, a civil position and a call for a dialogue. We were interested in such artists who do not just decorate the walls, but reflect in their work the problems and vices of modern society, are trying to draw the attention of passers -by.

On the eve of the exhibition "Voice of the streets" Publicpost got acquainted with street art: we talked with artists about life and work, learned to make street stencils, stuck stickers in Moscow and painted graffiti right on the walls of the office. And then we went to St. Petersburg to organize the first independent exhibition of intellectual street art.
