Archpriest Vsevolod Chaplin warned of the dangers awaiting people on social networks

“Today it is generally accepted that the Internet and social networks give people the possibility of the most widely communication, but you and I know that sometimes this breadth of communication becomes deceptive,” the priest quotes the interfax -religion portal.

On social networks, Chaplin believes, users who seem to have access to communicating with billions of people around the world, are actually closed in narrow groups consisting of five, and sometimes out of ten people, "and in these groups the most bizarre and destructive views are born, up to the propaganda of suicide, before the exchanging by Soviets, how best to make suicide, how best to use drugs, Change a huge number of sexual partners in a week or month. "

The head of the sheep emphasized that in these closed groups, young people are deprived of the "wide circle of communication, which helps to get acquainted with different views on life."

The official representative of the Russian Orthodox Church believes that young people often "destroy themselves with alcohol and drugs" precisely because they feel a lack of communication, because the older generations are too busy to deal with the spiritual problems of young people, "and this makes them lonely."

“Remembering the loneliness and isolation of youth in network communities, generations of fathers and grandfathers, mothers and grandmothers should find their way to communicate with the generation of children and grandchildren in order to save them from loneliness, from the lack of experience, so that the young man does not close in the stuffy small rooms born of social networks,” Vsevolod Chaplin is convinced.
