According to the source, who personally knew Sergei Drozdov, he suffered from cancer - lung cancer. Recently, the musician passed the chemotherapy course, and friends hoped that he would recover. But hopes were not destined to come true.
Sergey Drozdov was born on January 28, 1955. He graduated from a music school, studied at a music school. Since 1974 he was a soloist and bass player of VIA "Blue Bird".
In 1999, after several years of creative break and solo performances of the participants, Drozdov tried to recreate the legendary team under the "Russian Philharmonic - Samara", but that attempt was not entirely successful. In 2002, he scored a new composition of VIA, which began to be called "Blue Bird of Sergei Drozdov," and began to successfully tour. In the studio, the best songs from VIA "Blue Bird" in their classical performance were redeemed then.
