Medvedev demanded to put the guilty in the incident at the Khimki incident in prison

The guilty of the incident at the Dynamo-Zenit match should be in prison, said Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev at a meeting with deputy prime ministers.

“Such actions cannot be treated lightweight. For the things that have happened, you need to put in jail. This is absolutely obvious. There should not be impunity here,” ITAR -TASS quotes the Prime Minister. He expressed the hope that the police will ultimately establish the guilty.

According to the head of government, this is not an incident, but a crime, and a deliberate crime. “It is necessary to prepare such changes to the legislation that would be aimed at preventing such offenses,” Medvedev believes. “It is obvious that this is not only the police, this is the case and the administration of the stadium, sports societies and fans.”

Medvedev recalled that the day before he instructed Mutko to develop the relevant proposals, and the government - to oversee this work.

The match of the 16th round of the Russian football championship between Dynamo and Zenit was held on November 17 at the Arena Khimki stadium near Moscow. After Dynamo opened the score in the 27th minute of the match, firecrackers rained down on the field. One of them was injured by Dynamo goalkeeper Anton Shunina. The match was stopped, and then interrupted . The goalkeeper was taken to the hospital, where doctors diagnosed him with a chemical burn of both eyes , as well as post -traumatic otitis media of his right ear.

After the incident, the police detained 92 people. Ten of them, which were part of the group closest to the injured goalkeeper, were dactyloscopized and photographed. On some detainees, administrative protocols were drawn up, a preventive conversation was held with others, after which they were all released .

On the fact of the incident, a criminal case was opened under the article "Hooliganism", which provides for imprisonment as a punishment for up to 7 years. The Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia took his investigation for special control.
