Lawyers for convicted members of the punk band Pussy Riot have stopped representing their interests.
“Due to the enormous public outcry and pressure that is being put on our clients Maria Alekhina and Nadezhda Tolokonnikova, we have decided to withdraw from the case,” Alekhina’s lawyer Nikolai Polozov told Interfax.
He clarified that the girls already have agreements with other lawyers who will protect their interests.
