Well, here we are! Recent checks at the Golos association indicate the impending fabrication of a politically motivated case and that the new anti-legal law on the status of NPO-foreign agent will come into full force from November 21. They will hit a select few, as sources in government agencies said, starting with Golos, the Moscow Helsinki Group and Transparency International - Russia . For the first time in the history of the human rights movement, human rights activists publicly refused to implement the law. This did not happen even during the time of dissidents in the USSR.

Representatives of leading human rights organizations spoke about this on November 19 at the Independent Press Center in Moscow.
