Audi is working on the Q8 cross-capu

They decided to release a cross-coupe in Ingolstadt due to high demand for cars of this type in markets, which, despite the crisis, continue to grow.

This is primarily about China and Russia. In total, Audi expects to sell 25,000 Q8 copies per year.

According to preliminary data, the cross-coupe will be 300 kg easier than Q7 due to the widespread use of aluminum.

The new Audi will be equipped with a line of 6- and 8-cylinder gasoline and diesel engines, as well as a hybrid installation.

In addition, the appearance of the “charged” Q8 RS with a 550-horsepower unit is also expected.

Currently, the cross-coup is at the final stage of development, which means that the novelty will appear on sale around 2017.
