Bus explosion in Tel Aviv

On Wednesday afternoon, in Tel Aviv on Shaul-A-Mech Street, an explosion in a passenger bus, following route 142, thundered in the central part of the city. According to preliminary data, there were no dead. 21 people were injured, all of them were taken to the Hospital of “NILS”. “ Most of the victims received mild wounds ,” said Officer Gandelman, an official representative of the Israeli cabinet. Meanwhile, in microblogs with reference to sources in Israeli law enforcement agencies, information according to which at least 12 people were killed.

Representatives of the Hamas movement have already distributed an application in which they took responsibility for the explosion. Thus, for the first time since 2006, in the center of Tel Aviv, a terrorist attack is committed, which practically nullifies the chances of a truce or at least a ceasefire during the current confrontation of Israel and Hamas.

In the gas sector, the population met news about the explosion of the bus with glee. Hamas leaders welcomed the terrorist attack, calling it a “natural answer” to death as a result of rocket firing 11 people from the Palestinian family Jamal ad-Dala. Hamas blessed them (terrorists), ”Abu Zukhri himself told reporters to reporters.

According to available information, an explosive device was laid on the bus. Police officers received information from witnesses about a suspicious person who entered the bus, left some kind of item and ran away.

“Something exploded in the cabin. People were injured. I jumped out, ”said one of the passengers. According to eyewitnesses, there were no victims only because there were few people on the bus. Presumably, the explosive device was put into effect using distance control or was equipped with a timer.
