I noticed that for most citizens of the country the word “official” evokes, at a minimum, disgust. More than once I have heard many unflattering statements addressed to me. Like, “what have you forgotten here”, “you want to grab your piece”, “you’re trying to promote yourself”, etc. I have a question - dear friends, what do you think a modern official should be like?
Why do I ask? For example, according to government leaders, an exemplary official “lives in a five-story building, keeps his money at home, and drives a tractor.” At the same time, our prime minister is confident that those officials who do not know how to handle electronic document management should be fired. I completely agree with this. In theory, a person holding a certain position is a “person”, it doesn’t matter whether it is a region, a city or a state, it is still a “person”.
“ All state and municipal authorities, customers and enterprises financed from the federal budget must, in the very near future, buy automotive equipment produced only in the territory of the Common Economic Space, that is, in Russia, Kazakhstan and Belarus,” our president is confident. The president’s press secretary generally believes that an official’s Twitter should be “clean” and “transparent”, so that there is nothing personal anywhere. And of course, don’t swear and forget the concept of “profanity.” It's funny, isn't it?)
Yes, and one more thing: “Officials should not have accounts in foreign banks under any circumstances,” says head of the presidential administration Sergei Ivanov. I fully support this idea. For me, the more power and authority, the higher the demand.
This is what he is like - a modern official. In general, how many people have so many opinions, but do these statements coincide with the opinion of the people? And in general, what should an official represented by the people be like - ride a tractor or be fluent in modern gadgets?
