Valentina Danilova was allowed to move to Novosibirsk

Physicist Valentin Danilov, who was serving a sentence on charges of espionage in favor of China, received permission to move to Novosibirsk. It is reported by ITAR-TASS with reference to the representative of the Krasnoyarsk Regional Court. Danilov, convicted in 2004, on parole, will be released on Saturday - eight years after the sentence announced, the official representative of the GUFSIN in the Krasnoyarsk Territory Yekaterina Bronman told RIA Novosti. "Danilov was convicted on November 24, 2004. He was released on Saturday, that is, also on November 24. Thus, it turns out that the day of liberation is the same date as the day of announcement, with a difference of eight years," said Brutzman.

On November 13, the court of the Sovetsky district of Krasnoyarsk granted the petition for the parole Valentin Danilov. "Danilov was released for an unexpected term - for three years, 11 days," said the press secretary of the court Maria Fomushina.

Fomushina added that the decision to hold a meeting was made after a message from the GUFSIN was received, that Danilov was transferred from the hospital to the colony. Danilov took part in a meeting in video conference mode, as he was in a correctional institution.

On December 16, 2011, the same court rejected Danilov’s petition for transferring a maximum security colony into a penal colony. The basis for the refusal was the recovery received previously prisoners. Danilov two minutes later of the end was in bed. For this fault, he received a day of a schizo.

Prominent Russian physicists have repeatedly indicated the FSB and the prosecutor’s office that Danilov’s information, transmitted as part of the project jointly with the Chinese scientists, is not secret, has long been openly discussed at international scientific conferences and published in books and textbooks. Human rights organizations consider Danilov a political prisoner.

In February 2001, Professor Danilov, director of the thermophysical center in Krasnoyarsk, was arrested. The FSB accused him of "transferring secret scientific information" by a Chinese scientist. At the same time, Danilov’s inventions regarding the protection systems of spacecraft from solar radiation were declassified a few years before. On September 27, 2002, he was released from a pre -trial detention center on a recognizance not to leave.

In December 2003, the jury of the regional court fully justified the scientist. In June 2004, the Supreme Court canceled this decision, and the case was sent for a new consideration. In November 2004, Danilov was sentenced to 14 years in a maximum security colony and a fine in favor of the Krasnoyarsk Heatophysical Center in the amount of 466 thousand rubles. In June 2005, the Supreme Court confirmed this sentence, reducing the sentence of the sentence to 13 years.
