People often die at the railway crossing near the Pavshino platform in Krasnogorsk near Moscow. The crossing is not equipped with traffic lights; freight trains often stop right on it. After an 18-year-old boy and a 16-year-old girl were hit by a train in this place on October 8, an initiative group was organized in the city to improve the crossing. Activists are collecting signatures under an appeal to the head of Russian Railways, Yakunin, with a demand to build an underpass. The appeal has already been signed by 2,500 residents of Krasnogorsk.
