Our shelter is like a house for veterans who came from the war. Figuratively speaking, everyone who ended up here, like Rambo, smokes guns, drips blood.

From Congo - to Zyuzino

For example, we have one woman, Sylvia. She has two children. They lived in the Congo, in the village. Bandits from neighboring Rwanda invaded them. The adult population was killed, her husband was cut, and she was raped. Then they were outcast in every possible way: in front of her eldest son, they ate a white child and said that they would do the same with him. And the second child, she became pregnant after rape. They fled, after - the line from the machine gun. The boy has a knee wounded, the mother has a lower back. Somewhere they ran away and eventually got to Russia. We are like a springboard or a step between Africa and the third countries, franco and English-speaking, and often get stuck here for a long time. Sylvia has vague prospects. We arranged a senior boy to the Moscow Breech Zyuzino: he lives with her for two days a week, the rest of the time there. We have no psychologists, but they have. The embodiment of a dream

I myself was born in Ashgabat, but I lived in Uzbekistan, not far from the Aral Sea, and grew up in Central Asia. I wanted to go to the physical department of Moscow State University, but it didn’t work out immediately: they sent it to the army, where I served a conscript in the convoy troops for two years in maximum security zones. Then he still entered the university, became a physicist and was engaged in nanotechnology. He was a leading engineer, received a good salary. And 20 years ago I threw everything and began to engage in homeless children. Then it looked complete madness.

We created the first shelter in Medvedkov with the British in the early 90s. It was called a school-receive them. Sergius of Radonezh. Later, in 1995, I was invited by the director to the Russian shelter, created by the Foundation "There is no alcoholism and drug addiction." A year later, I gave him the name - “Road to the House” and worked there for eight years there. All these years have been thinking about creating a rehabilitation complex for people who fell into a difficult life situation.

Once a businessman appeared, who said: "I want to help you realize your dream." This man bought a building for us in the suburbs, and then, when his affairs went badly, made me a gift, or rather, to my fund “childhood shelter”. So a heavy suitcase with gold fell on me, but without a pen, which is very difficult to carry and very sorry to quit. First, we opened a free hotel for young people, and then women and children poured to me. I took those who could sign the contract myself - I still have no right to take children without parents to the shelter. Sometimes pregnant women come to us, sometimes whole families. Now we live with 35 people from Russia, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Congo, cat-d'Ivoire, Ukraine. Children are from six months to 14 years old. We have a hectare of land here, two ponds, in one crayfish are found. I have a dream - to cover the ground with a glass roof and put warmly so that there are real greenhouses. Now we are putting the assembly hall in order and adapt it to the nursery for kids.

Once from the city of Artem (this is next to Vladivostok), a woman with a child, a graduate of the orphanage, arrived on the way. She escaped from there and, having arrived, turned to the presidential apparatus for working with citizens. They realized that she had nowhere to spend the night, and called the Moscow Department of Family and Youth Policy, which is engaged in such people and who has a city shelter “Hope” for women with children. But they said there: if she is not a Muscovite, we can’t help. Then they were given my coordinates, and I agreed to accept it. The official from the presidential apparatus says: "Let us hang your coordinates on the president’s website?" I say: “For the sake of God, no. Let's talk better. ” I arrived, told what and how. He asks: "How much do you take from women per day?" “We give everything for free - they, as a rule, have no money.” Well, he was sympathetic: “Everything, write a letter to the president, offer a federal program, and I will try to make it come to him.” It was still under Medvedev, last year, on April 14. Two months later, this deputy chief of the department for working with appealing citizens informed me that he had crossed the letter to the Golikova department, that they were delighted: the person offered not only the idea, but also the land, building and his experience. Like, they will call you now. Then the summer came - they did not call. In the fall, this comrade retired. For a month and a half I caught his shifter. Finally found. He says: “Egorov told you about you. Good organization. But the letter was lost. Write again. " Well, in the end I did not write.

Once we came from the Department of Social Policy, explained to me in love, said: "Sapar Mullyevich, let's take women with children from us, and we will try to finance you for this?" I say: "Well, tale, let's." But nothing happened. They managed to send five to six women with children, not a ruble of money, and then they said: "Help is inappropriate for you, wait." And they also offered to make a gift state - so that I was appointed an operational manager.

Neighbor and firefighters

I have neither a ruble nor a single bet. Neither myself, nor anyone else get a salary. I have a one hundred percent volunteer organization. For 40 people-so that there are no problems in nutrition, medicines, social-you need about 500 thousand per month. We are saved due to donations and volunteer labor, products and clothes that send us. We are not enough for all problems. The first thing we do is give a roof over your head and normal domestic conditions: bedding, washing machine, water, gas. The commandant Sasha, a former pupil of my shelter, is engaged in registration, brings products. They cook ourselves, we do not have a license for the dining room. The kitchen is common, and someone else is eating: someone in the kitchen, someone in their room. We also do something that no one else does: draw up temporary registration. Over the past year, 80 people visited us. Everyone develops differently: someone returns to their homeland, someone in the family, someone finds work, rents housing and leaves. Foreigners have their own path: they remain either in Russia, or leave for a third country.

The first to respond to the Ministry of Emergencies: fire extinguishers were brought as a gift, sweet gifts for children, said that they would check us, train and help restore order.

If we reason reasonably, then the shop should have to be closed or somehow used commercially and not to kneel before anyone. The wife sometimes says to me: “Normal people earn money ...” And there were situations when I did not understand why I was doing this, why I abandoned physics - I was eager for astronautics, but suddenly went out into the street, completely changing my fate. I did not understand, but I never spared about it.
