Everyone is afraid. They talk about the fear and sick back of Putin - the reason for inadequate speeches about the "stuffed Jew" and convulsive permutations in the government. They talk about “landings”, about new emigrants, about political refugees, they are waiting for new arrests ... European and American universities are littered with applications for internships from Russian journalists and scientists, half of the ruble is empty. Torture in police areas, a demonstrative “swamp business”, the beating of ordinary activists no longer surprise anyone. It is fashionable to have a conversation in the spirit "Would you admit under torture?" It is fashionable to explain how individual terror differs from the mass. Obscene parallels since 1937 no longer seem indecent.

People are afraid. And inside this fear is a feeling of a rustic victory.

The newly elected coordination council of the opposition has this feeling. After more than a hundred thousand people found time and patience to register and vote in the elections to an organ that had no real legal force, it seemed that something would change now: these 45 people, so different in views and experience, contrary to common sense, will quickly fix everything. Now you can breathe calmly. They must bring saving answers, they will rebuild Russia. But in the three weeks that passed between the meetings of the Council, no miracles happened, and Russia did not rebuild. On the contrary, the COP was almost inaudible, but when it was still heard, it would be better if this was not at all the COP. In the public, wizards showed the inability to conduct a normal conversation with each other and the ability to talk about the intricacies of the regulations. The fear of the necessity and impossibility of quick positive actions resulted in public reproach for colleagues. And between the lessons I read how the venerable oppositionist turns into Kurginyan before our eyes.

But actually, the COP is not a community of wizards and not a collection of the Politburo. Elections to the COP - one, albeit very important, but one of the episodes of resistance. The KS is not a government, but a center for preparing changes, a body designed to unite free people in a non -free country, to connect them with each other. Some are engaged in helping political prisoners, others are developing a draft judicial system, others are pickets and so on. The Constitutional Court is a reflection of what is happening today with a protest in an atomized society, a country of loners, infantile loners waiting for a quick victory.

November is generally a lousy month. November - nothing, gray sky and traffic jams. Last year there was a similar feeling - as a reaction to the congress on September 24. Now everything is tougher: last year's conversations about leaving were replaced by shoots, the expectation of arrests - real terms, confusion - lack of reaction to any news, fatigue from trouble. The end of the world is better than the incorrect quick victory. It’s better to think that it doesn’t happen worse. No, it happens. The Soviet Union was worse. This explains, for example, Vladimir Bukovsky, telling how he went to geological expeditions in between camps - the only way to hide. In a cage from which you can not break out, worse.

Happiness is when

Recently, I asked students to write a short essay - to answer the question "What are you dreaming about?" Anya wrote: “What do I want from life? I want to achieve everything in life itself. I would like to be independent, strong, not to depend on anyone. I want my mother to be always with me and, most importantly, alive. I want me to be with my loved one. I want to be an excellent student in school. I would like not to be upset. Do not quarrel with anyone. Have friends who will never betray. I want to be happy and that everything is fine. And so that my dreams come true. All".

Fear? Stupid things. There is no fear, there is a forgotten goal of all these rallies and childhood disappointment from the fact that a quick victory did not happen. This is a forgotten sense of freedom that many experienced almost a year ago in December. This is a lost sense of moral superiority over power. For many, these feelings were too serious to completely disappear. After all, they are akin to happiness. Behind the feeling of decaying connections, the constant “end of the world”, the slow -minded coordination council, the main reason for all these “protest trends” was lost.

In the Declaration of Independence of the United States, adopted 236 years ago (a little more handshakes than to Pushkin), it is reported that everyone has the right to "life, freedom and desire to happiness." In order for these rights to be secured, and governments are established: “If any form of the government becomes destructive for these purposes themselves, the people have the right to change or abolish it and establish a new government based on such principles and forms of organizing power, which, as it seems to him, will best provide people with safety and happiness.” We now have just such a case - the form and principles of the organization of the current government do not provide people with safety and happiness.

Anya has been rarely going to literature lessons. Yesterday I found out that she got a job with a plaster. She does not need to tell what bad ruler Putin, and explain that in police areas they are tortured by the detainees. She, regardless of the picture of Channel One, knows all this better than any Columnist. But, unlike many, she knows what the government should be - the one that can provide happiness against the background of the surrounding COP - the end of the world. For example, to find an apartment with Dima and give birth to children. And it seems that the only march in which she is ready to participate is a campaign for happiness, including the happiness of others. Happiness is when you are protected. If the eighth, ninth or fifteenth Martrab will not be for fear, but for happiness, especially if for the happiness of others, you need to go there.

After all, these rallies, they are not about the bloody tyrant, they are a way to say about something else, more important.
