OMON reported on the injuries of fighters when dispersing a spontaneous rally in Kopeysk

Eight riot police fighters were injured during overclocking people who gathered at the walls of colony No. 6 in Kopeisk in support of prisoners on November 24. This was reported by the press service of the police of the Chelyabinsk region.

Previously, it was only known that those whom the police dispersed were injured . On published video frames, people with broken heads and faces are visible, as well as cars with broken glasses.

According to the police, people gathered at the colony walls were going to violate public order and cursed loudly, because of which they were dispersed.

The riot in the penal colony No. 6 of the Chelyabinsk region began on the afternoon of November 24. On this date, a "parental day" was planned, but the colony administration suddenly abolished it. The relatives who arrived could not get to the territory of the institution, and then saw that trucks with riot police were stopped there. According to the FSIN, the prisoners demanded to release their comrades out of the penalty insulator. According to human rights activists, the protest is still continuing, some prisoners are located on the roofs of the colony buildings, a poster with a request for help was posted on one of them. Entrance to Kopeisk, according to human rights activists, is blocked.
