Winter is just around the corner, nothing has been accomplished, but when you raise these questions, in response I always hear the same song: what have you done, where is your participation? So the authorities don’t need our participation, and I know why. Do you think it’s because of my lack of professionalism, for example? No, if so, then the officials would immediately use it to deal with me once and for all, it would be to their advantage. We would simulate a situation in which officials showed everyone, look, they can’t do anything, but they’re trying...

I have already written about this, and will do so more than once: officials categorically do not want to let anyone into their “garden.” They see this as an encroachment on their power. And claims are constantly made against the residents, and if we imagine that the residents have all become law-abiding, disciplined citizens, then will the same demands automatically be made on the officials themselves? Now there is a certain “balance”: yes, we are not putting things in order, but don’t interfere with us either, but if you interfere, we’ll tighten the screws, it won’t seem too much...
