Moscow artist Ilya Farber* moved to the village of Fraudka of the Tver region in 2010 and got a job as a teacher from a local school. The next year, by agreement with the Brasation administration, he took up the reconstruction of the rural club - he developed a project and actually managed the work. The conflict with the subcontractor is Gorstroy-1 LLC (Farber believed that the estimates were inflated and the terms of work were not withstanding) led to the fact that the general director of this company Yuri Gorokhov accused the rural teacher of extorting a bribe. Ilya Farber was detained by the UFSB officers in the Tver region in the Horokhov office (according to the prosecution - when transferring a bribe).
Farber's case was considered by the jury. Farber’s defense believes that the court passed with procedural violations - for example, in his parting word, the judge advised the jury not to pay attention to the words of the defendant, and Ilya Farber himself did not even let the verdict announcement.
