Promotion of cheerful milkmen in Brussels

A rally of European farmers in Brussels in front of the European Parliament building, dissatisfied with low purchasing prices for their products, ended in clashes with the police.

Participants in the “1000 tractors for Brussels” campaign blocked the city center with tractors, and then poured 15 thousand liters of milk on the European Parliament building and police officers.

This is not the only surprise that the farmers prepared - they set fire to tires and hay, and then tried to break into the European Parliament building. The police used tear gas and water cannons.

The demonstration of European milk producers against low purchasing prices, which began in the afternoon in Brussels in front of the European Parliament, by the end of the day resulted in serious clashes with the police, Interfax reports.

Dairy producers arriving in Brussels from the Belgian provinces, as well as from France, the Netherlands and Germany on 800 tractors, blocked many places in the capital of the European Union, including access to Brussels airport. Participants from other countries arrived by bus. In total, according to police, two thousand European milk producers gathered in Brussels to protest.

The confrontation with the police continued until the evening of November 26.
