Earlier, Kommersant reported that the arrest of Yelkin, according to the testimony of witnesses who was a friend and proxy of the ex-Minister of Defense Anatoly Serdyukov, became the result of a multi-month development, which was carried out by operatives of the FSB counterintelligence and the Main Directorate of Economic Security of the Ministry of Internal Affairs under the leadership of the Main Military Investigative Department of the Investigative Committee. On Friday, another 300 million rubles were seized from Yelkin’s bank accounts.
