Naked protesters attacked the office of the speaker of the House of Representatives of the United States

The US police arrested three activists of the AIDS combating movement, who decided to arrange a protest against the authorities with respect to those suffering from this disease. On Tuesday afternoon, women appeared in the office of the speaker of the House of Representatives of the American Congress John Boner in Washington and divided there, ABC News reports.

Activists explained that they want to tell the "naked truth" about the reduction of state financing of medical and rehabilitation programs for HIV patients. On the bodies of protesters with a black marker, the words were written: "Aids Cuts Kill", meaning that a revision of the policy will kill the suffering AIDS. For "obscene and indecent actions" women were detained and passed to the police department. They may face a slight fine.

Four men also participated in the "naked" protest rally, but they were not delayed. Activists were seized a few minutes after the action, when they tried to mix up in the crowd of their like -minded people who came to the speaker’s office to support the action, Ny Daily News reports.

The assistant speaker refused to give a detailed comment on the incident, but confirmed that seven people from the ACT UP public organization really divided in the office. Employees immediately called the police, who settled the situation.

The protest was held against the backdrop of the continuing negotiations of the US administration and the Congress on the parameters of the budget deficit, RIA Novosti reports. If the authorities manage to agree, from January 2013 an automatic reduction in financing of a number of budget articles will be introduced. In particular, the Republicans insist on reducing social articles and medical programs.

The American AIDS coalition is going to hold a mass protest against reducing the costs of combating this disease on Saturday.
