A gunpowder factory workshop burned in the Tambov region, no casualties
In Kotovsk, Tambov region, on Wednesday a fire occurred in one of the production shops of the Federal State Unitary Enterprise Tambov Powder Plant, the press service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations for the Tambov Region told Interfax.
According to preliminary information, there are no dead or injured.
“At 13:00 a signal was received about a fire in one of the plant’s workshops. Seven fire brigades and a ladder truck went to the scene. At 13:30 the fire was extinguished,” said a representative of the Ministry of Emergency Situations.
Currently, the causes of the fire and the circumstances of the emergency are being clarified.
