Control doping industry gave a positive result

In the anti -doping laboratory in Lausanne (Switzerland) on November 20, the opening of the control sample "B" of the Russian athlete, the silver medalist of the 2012 Olympic Games in Daria Pishalnikova’s disc, was opened. It confirmed the presence in the body of an athlete of the forbidden drug Oksandrolon, which belongs to the class of anabolic steroids, the All Sports agency reports.

The doping industry was taken from the Pishchealnikova before the Olympic Games in London - on May 20 in the off -lineing mode and at first gave a negative reaction. However, then the World Anti -Doping Agency (WADA) approved a more accurate methodology for determining oxandrolone, which belongs to the group of anabolic steroids. And it requested hundreds of doping samples from around the world, including about 60 - from Russia.

So far, only a positive reaction of one redeemed "Russian" sample of Pischealnikova is known.

After May 20, when a positive test was handed over, the Russian discomobolka managed to become a silver medalist of the Olympic Games in London. Now this result will probably be canceled. Moreover, Pishchealnikova herself in her 27 years is threatened by a lifelong disqualification for a repeated violation of anti -doping rules. In 2008-2011, she was already serving a disqualification lasting 2 years and 9 months for the replacement of doping industry.

We add that it was on Oxandrolon that after recent recalcation of the doping industry, five winners of the 2004 Olympic Games were caught , among which Russians Svetlana Krieveleva and Oleg Perepechenov.

It is likely that after the introduction of the latest method of detecting oxandrolon, these athletes will only be the first swallows in a series of "retrospective" doping scandals.
