• The uninfront deputy Yevgeny Fedorov again submitted to the State Duma a bill on the media financed abroad. According to Fedorov, the media will be recognized by foreign agents if they have more than 50% of foreign financing and they cover political activities in Russia.

• Early in the morning in Kirov, mass searches were held in the apartments of activists of the anti -fascist movement, including the Autonomous Action organization. The searches were carried out by police officers in the presence of employees of the ED Center. The pretext to carry out a major operation against the anti -fascists was the case against the organizers of the picket who demanded to ban the Russian march.

• Zamoskvoretsky Court of Moscow recognized the Extremist video Pussy Riot. The court indicated the IP address of the resources that should be blocked. The lawyer of Ekaterina Samutsevich Damir Gainutdinov did not exclude that the resuscitation of a criminal case under Article 2822 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (“Organization of the activities of an extremist organization”) in relation to unidentified persons who prepared and distributed this video on the Internet is possible.

• The Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation announced the end of the investigation against 12 defendants in the “swamp business”, whose affairs are allocated into separate proceedings. Investigative actions against other unidentified persons continue. In total, 18 people pass in the “swamp business”. Maxim Luzyanin has already been sentenced to four and a half years in prison, in court there is a process against Mikhail Kosenko.

• The FSB started a new criminal case against representatives of the Russian opposition. It was aroused in relation to an indefinite circle of persons on the fact of public calls for violent overthrow of the system (Article 280 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation). On Wednesday, as part of this case, the defendant in the “swamp business” Richard Sobolev was called for an interrogation. According to lawyer Dmitry Agranovsky, any slogans can be recognized under the call for violent overthrow of power, even the slogan “Down with autocracy!”

• President Vladimir Putin proposed changing the constitution in order to move on to direct senators. He stated this at a meeting with the leaders of the State Duma parliamentary factions: "At the present stage of development of our country, the proposed order is fully consistent with democratic criteria."
