A criminal case under the article “retail sale of alcoholic products to minors” was opened against an employee of one of the grocery stores in Belgorod, the press service of the regional Ministry of Internal Affairs reported on Monday.
It is noted that this is not the first time the woman has come to the attention of the police. This summer, she sold a bottle of wine to a teenager, for which she was fined. Last week she sold champagne to a 15-year-old.
For repeated violations of the law, a woman faces punishment in the form of correctional labor for up to 1 year with deprivation of the right to hold certain positions or engage in certain activities for up to 3 years.
In total, since the beginning of the year, 233 facts of sale of alcoholic beverages to minors have been identified and documented in administrative protocols in the region.
