In 2013, the Ivanovo region will allocate about 2.5 billion rubles for road repairs and maintenance.
The volume of financing for the road fund of the Ivanovo region in 2013 will amount to 2.4 billion rubles, said Andrei Shushkin, head of the regional road department, at a meeting of the regional government on Tuesday.
According to him, these funds will be used for the reconstruction, repair and maintenance of public roads of regional and intermunicipal importance, as well as the repair of courtyards of apartment buildings, intra-block driveways, and rural roads.
Competitive procedures for the road fund are planned to be held in the first quarter of 2013.
It was previously reported that the regional road fund began to operate on January 1, 2012. In 2012, 2.1 billion rubles were allocated to finance road infrastructure.
The sources for the formation of budgetary allocations of the fund are transport tax, excise taxes on gasoline, state duties for issuing special permits for the movement of heavy vehicles and payments to compensate for the damage caused by them.
