Cleaning work in Tver, where the state of emergency imposed due to bad weather is still in effect, continues around the clock, utility workers are removing tons of snow, Interfax was told on Wednesday by the Tver Municipal Unitary Enterprise "ZhEK".
“Last night alone, more than 15 tons of snow were removed from the streets of Tver. Currently, 86 units of equipment are involved in clearing the city of snow debris,” said a representative of the Housing Office.
As Interfax was told by the city administration's information department, special attention is paid to clearing the roadway to restore full transport links. The movement of public transport in Tver still remains difficult at turning points and sections of the route remote from the center.
