Sergey Ivanov accused the media of "debilization"


The head of the presidential administration, Sergei Ivanov, accused the media of negative impact on the young generation of Russians, RIA Novosti reports. Ivanov said this at a meeting with proxies of Vladimir Putin.

Some media "contribute to the accounts of youth", which leads to the wildness and fall of morals, Ivanov noted. According to him, this young generation will come to power after a while and get access to a powerful weapon, which will become useless and dangerous in their hands.

Ivanov spoke out at a government meeting against the “television of the population through television in December 2004. As an example, he called the popular humorous program “ANSHLLAG”, which goes on the federal channel “Russia”.
