The Moscow City Court softened the conditions of house arrest of the ex-head of the Department of Property Relations of the Ministry of Defense Evgenia Vasilyeva, who was accused of the Oboronservis case, RIA Novosti reports. The court recognized the decision to choose a preventive measure by legal, clarifying that she was forbidden to leave the apartment without the permission of investigators and talk with suspects and accused in the case.
According to lawyer Alexander Gofstein, now people will be able to come to Vasilyeva and she will be able to speak by phone without discussing the circumstances of the case. Lawyer Olga Kozyreva asked to cancel the house arrest Vasilyeva, since, according to her, "due to the strict conditions of house arrest, the accused does not receive the necessary medical care, does not visit the priest and the housekeeper cannot come to her."
Meanwhile, Father Vasilyeva said that it was he who bought an apartment in Milk Lane, where searches were underway. "All this property, for example, an apartment in Milk Lane, was acquired by me for objective reasons. It was before its entry into the post of head of the Department of Property Relations, to the Ministry of Defense," Nikolai Vasiliev said on Echo of Moscow. He added that the apartment, the cost of which exceeded 44 million rubles, was purchased in March 2010. Vasiliev called himself a millionaire.
Vasiliev also said that most of the jewelry seized in Vasilyeva is jewelry. "Gold, diamonds are mysticism. And much less was seized than the 1.5 thousand products discussed. Lion share - jewelry. There are no diamonds, there is a mountain crystal," Vasiliev said.
Vasilyeva is charged with fraud on an especially large scale. As part of the Oboronservis case, the ex -head of the "Center for Legal Support" expert Ekaterina Smetanova and her husband, the former general director of the "District Material Warehouse of the Moscow District of the Air Force" Maxim Klastutalo, were also arrested.
In October, it became known that on the facts of fraud in real estate transactions, land and shares belonging to the "Oboronservis", five criminal cases were instituted. The damage was reported in more than 3 billion rubles. Now the amount of damage is more than 4 billion rubles.
On the eve of Izvestia, it was reported that the investigators had questions to the temporarily acting director of the Department of Property Relations of the Ministry of Defense, Oles Podgorny. The investigation believes that Podgorny is involved in a transaction with a real estate object located on Piryatinskaya Street in Abakan. Its cadastral value amounted to 136.6 million rubles, but at auction land was estimated at 46.7 million rubles, and non -residential buildings located on it were 20.8 million rubles. “It was a land plot of 16.7 hectares,” said Denis Lapteikov, assistant to the military prosecutor in the Abakan garrison. Participants in the transaction told the publication that they consider prices adequate and, besides them, no one would buy these objects.
Meanwhile, the investigation believes that the former Minister of Defense Anatoly Serdyukov did not know anything about theft in the military department. This was announced on the eve of Rosbalt with reference to the case file. According to these data, subordinates, scrolling through large scams, deceived the ex-minister. It follows from the documents that Vasiliev, "performing managerial functions in OJSC" Oboronservice ", committed crimes" by deception and abuse of trust, misleading the leadership of the Russian Ministry of Defense. "Thus, according to the latest version of Vasiliev, Serdyukov deceived, but he himself did not know anything about his backs.
