The head of the office of the President of Olympstroy was arrested for old sins

The Tverskoy Court of Moscow has taken Viktor Luchinkin, head of the office of the president of the Olimpstroy state corporation, into custody. The official is suspected of major fraud, according to the State Television and Radio Broadcasting Company Chuvashia.

At the same time, law enforcement agencies emphasize that this case is not related to the activities of Olympstroy, headed by Sergei Gaplikov. The reason for the arrest is Luchinkin's previous work in Chuvashia as the head of Communal Technologies, the report says.

The criminal case was initiated under two articles: embezzlement and fraud. According to investigators, Luchinkin paid himself and some company managers inflated salaries and bonuses. And also, using his official position, he concluded agreements, as a result of which the company's funds were stolen.

The investigation into the case began in February. Then the operatives of the Republican Investigative Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs conducted searches in "Communal Technologies" and seized documentation on the activities of the company that united the enterprises of the housing and communal sector of four cities of Chuvashia - Cheboksary, Novocheboksarsk, Tsivilsk and Mariinsky Posad.

Luchinkin headed this company from 2006 to 2010. After that, several directors were replaced in the company within two years, the report notes.
