On Wednesday evening, fifteen activists from various leftist movements and Konstantin Lebedev's support group blocked Baumanskaya Street for several minutes on the segment from Brigadirsky Lane to Radio Street, at the intersection with which the main building of the Investigative Committee is located. It is this department that is investigating the cases of mass riots on May 6 on Bolotnaya Square and the Anatomy of a Protest case. The activist of the Russian Socialist Action, Konstantin Lebedev, is also involved in the second case; yesterday, the Basmanny Court left him under arrest until February 17.
The activists blocked the street with a banner “We won't leave”, lit pyrotechnics and walked several hundred meters, chanting “Freedom for political prisoners” and “Freedom for Konstantin Lebedev”. At the very end of the procession, three police officers from the second operational regiment ran out of the square behind the building of the Investigative Committee. They were able to catch up and detain two activists.
